Daniel Spoerri is a Swiss artist who moved to the Tuscan town of Seggiano in 1997. He blessed the town by opening a sculpture garden, where over 100 works by Spoerri and various artists are displayed. Spoerri personally chose the participating artists and their work is done in various mediums. The collection continues to grow in this 16 hectare, open air art gallery. The installations are wondrously displayed among the woods and meadows with surrounding views of the valley.
A visit to the garden is a great opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors of Tuscany while seeing some very fanciful and creative works of art. The garden is located very near Le Casacce, our home in Tuscany located near Seggiano.
